John Pratt was born and raised in British Columbia. After graduating from Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles, he was an Advertising Art Director in San Francisco. He performed with Diablo Light Opera Company (Walnut Creek), Dramateurs (Lafayette) and companies in Marin and Sonoma. He was Henry Higgins in four different productions and twice played John Adams in 1776. Other favorite roles include Henry II (Lion in Winter), Thomas Cromwell (Man for All Seasons) and El Gallo (Fantasticks). He moved to Petaluma in 1991. After giving up cycling, John builds and flies free-flight model airplanes competitively.
